Lose Belly fatWell I have pondered what to do with this fitness site for ages. I did start to promote  a fitness program but really I am not that interested in building massive muscles or being able to run a thousand miles.

All I want is to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see but most importantly I want to lose my belly fat and get my 32” waist back!

Now the reason I am not bothered about running multiple marathons or building massive muscles is due to something Sylvester Stallone was quoted as saying when I was very much younger. He was quoted as saying that he regretted building such large muscles as his lifestyle now revolved around maintaining those muscles.

This of course is an important question that you need to answer, why do you want something in your life and what will it mean to your lifestyle.

That is the reason I will never visit a gym or go running, these are not things I want in my life, it is also partly the reason why I shocked myself when I watched this video.

As Winter Approaches

Of course for most of us neither of these is a viable option due to family and work commitments

To top this off, there is the fact that along with winter, in the northern hemisphere at least, comes the annual reunion around the dinner table and many parties.

At this point ladies, you maybe considering a new outfit and men we will be despairing that our suit has shrunk once again!

Of course the ladies won’t be choosing a thick woolly outfit and that suit was most likely not designed for winter use.

Which brings me to a sad issue

During the winter months, the mortality rate increases sharply and unfortunately for us in the UK it is higher than anywhere else in Europe.

We are a maritime nation with a relatively mild climate that rarely experiences Siberian extremes and yet the people of that region fare better.

In the UK due to the mild weather we rarely have to concern ourselves with extreme temperatures and thus when it does get cold we allow ourselves to get progressively colder,  plus if you have managed to keep your summer physique then you will have little body fat to insulate you.
